Answer: Although my grandmother received many visits from my grandfather after he died, I am the first person in my family with the gift of mediumship... but definitely not the last. My youngest daughter is much more comfortable with her abilities and the idea of following in my footsteps, but both of my girls have always been very sensitive to energy and instinctively know when something (or someone) is afoot. We can’t go on vacation, for example, without each of us independently sensing the same presence in the same area of our rented beach house. Only time will tell whether or not they decide to fully embrace and develop their gifts. In the meantime, it’s just nice being surrounded by people who “get me”.

Highly recommend this movie. Totally on point. Now let’s talk about synchronicity. This movie is all about the soul’s journey/how the universe works. The main character’s name is JOE GARDNER, which also happens to be the name of my son-in-law AND grandson, who is due ANY DAY!? Joe Gardner is also a music teacher. My son-in-law is a musician (plays numerous instruments by ear) and my daughter is a teacher... and I have learned more about souls from her pregnancy than the past 5 years combined!?🙌🏼 P.S. Right after he told me that Meg was pregnant, my dad held up a sign that said DECEMBER 25th. I assumed it was Joey junior’s birthday. WRONG. It was a nod to this movie, which was released on Christmas and is in total alignment with what her pregnancy has taught me. P.P.S. The other main character is Soul 22 & my bday is June 22nd! 😎
No. I read Tarot cards for family and friends for 30-plus years before I became a professional psychic medium, but I no longer use them for one simple reason... my Spirit Guides can simply show me one during a reading to get a message across. I still, however, think they are an incredibly useful tool when it comes to developing your own intuition. One of the homework assignments in my book, Madame Medium: Unleash Your Inner Psychic with a French Teacher Turned Psychic Medium, centers around them, and I wrote a blog post, Tarot 101: It's in the Cards, to help introduce others to this tool of the trade. Saging your house can get rid of leftover negative or "crusty" energy, but it will not deter any active entity (spirits or ghosts) that may have taken up residence. Sage is incredibly helpful when it comes to cleansing your home (or person) of residual energy, and I highly recommend using it when you move into a new space, after an argument, after a paranormal investigation, or anytime you walk through the front door and the air feels "heavy". Any persistent active paranormal entity that you want to get rid of must, however, be confronted and dealt with directly, either by you yourself or a professional medium. In some cases you can set your foot down (tell them in no uncertain terms to GTFO) and banish an unwelcome entity on your own, but most of the time a medium is required to get the job done. This is especially true if the paranormal activity around your house has been interfering with you and/or your family's ability to rest and relax for an extended amount of time.

Occasionally some creeper tries to get my attention by trying to frighten me, but they realize pretty quickly that it's not going to work and move on to showing me what it is they want or need from me (which is usually help crossing into The Light). I am also able to remain calm because I've got a lot of reliable back up on the Other Side. If I feel threatened in any way, I am quick to call on my Spirit Guides, Angels, loved ones (my dad), and/or other people in the Spirit World that I have previously assisted, all of whom are happy to help me wrangle any sketchy characters.

Mediumship is the practice of mediating communication between the living and the dead. Witchcraft is the practice of magic and the use of spells. Although my job does feel magical at times (and I have been called a witch or “bruja” by those on the Other Side who are clueless about my profession), I am not a Wiccan (a practicing witch), nor is there is any witchcraft, sorcery or conjuring of spells involved in anything that I do. There is nothing dark or scary about what I do, and I did not “sell my soul to the devil” in exchange for the gift of mediumship, it was given to me by God. The Bible refers to this ability as the gift of discernment. I communicate only with souls who walk in the White Light of God’s love and divine protection, as well as those on the Other Side who wish to, but need my help getting there. I pray to God, Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the Saints and the Angels before every reading or paranormal investigation to ensure that I am protected from any of the dark or evil entities that exist. I have never, and would never, use my gift for anything that did not help people or contribute to the greater good. For answers to more general psychic FAQs, click here: GENERAL PSYCHIC FAQs
Answer: Only if by "higher self" you mean your stoned self. I have met several people who have had what can only be described as spiritual/transformative experiences while under the influence of psychedelics. This has not been my personal experience. I’ve never done LSD, but I did do shrooms once in college and later in life ingested a pot brownie that I feel certain must have been laced with something much stronger. Both times I just saw randon weird sh*t and/or threw up. I don't judge others, nor doubt their experiences, but imo, drugs and alcohol lower your vibration in general and attract the wrong kind of energy from both sides of the veil. Answer: Nothing sets the scene for your own personal horror movie quite like your toddler's Tickle Me Elmo going off on its own at exactly 3am every morning, but there's usually no need to panic, nor douse the doll in holy water. I know it seems super freaky, but that toy that appears to be possessed (or the electric candle that repeatedly turns itself on despite not being plugged in) may simply be the spirit of a loved one dropping in to say “Hey!”. It would be lovely if our family spirits stuck to leaving us pennies from Heaven or putting birds and butterflies in our path, but some of the more energetic pranksters like to show off by messing with your toys, lights and plumbing. If the activity continues, intensifies, or you become increasingly uncomfortable with it, it's probably time to call in a professional medium to get to the root of the matter and help escort any unwanted intruders from the Other Side back where they belong.

I cannot tell you when someone will leave the physical world, nor would I, even if I could. Although you may think you want to know in order to prepare yourself, knowing ahead would only add to your anxiety. I am usually shown when one of my family members is in the final stages of life/preparing to cross over, but I am never shown ahead of time exactly when. I have been shown time and again that the exact hour of someone’s physical death was decided before birth by their soul and God, and it remains between their soul and God until the end.

It’s as if there is an invisible cord of energy linking their soul to yours, no matter what the distance. Remember the two empty soup cans tied together with string that we played “telephone” with back in the day? It wasn’t an actual phone line, but it more or less worked. Soul connections that remain after death are the same basic idea, just a much longer, stronger cord. If your loved ones weren’t still connected to you in a meaningful way, they wouldn’t be able to show me that you have moved -or any of the other details about your life since their passing- during a reading. You don’t have to worry about making it back to the cemetery on a regular basis either. If it makes you feel good, then by all means go as often as you like; just know that they only show up there because you do. They spend the rest of their time on the Other Side, living their best Afterlife and watching over you wherever you happen to be.
