Let’s face it, we all have sh*t days... Even the most blessed get stressed. How can you keep a crappy moment, hour or day from ruining your life? Start (and/or end) each day with an attitude of gratitude! No matter what is going on in your life, you can take 3-5 minutes to take 3-5 deep cleansing breaths and list (either on paper or in your head) 3-5 things for which you are grateful. Some days it might simply be the roof over your head, the food on your table and the fact that you are still breathing. On truly ratchet days I make it a point to give thanks (begrudgingly, with clenched teeth) for the current challenge that is surely -PLEASE, Universe, let there be a lesson in this misery- meant to teach me something. If this sounds kind of like brainwashing oneself into remaining positive and optimistic in the midst of *insert poop emoji* IT IS! ...and IT WORKS!
